I approach my work by adopting a range of media: drawing, painting, photography and digital manipulation. I’m interested in how we process and view the world; the systems and rituals that we undergo in our daily lives and the apparent burden of society. I have a penchant for the banal but also occasionally lapse into serious contemplation. My work is fuelled by modern-day anxiety and the yearning for spiritual freedom which, in our age of electronic chaos, can be hard to achieve.

Born Sussex, UK
Lives and works in London

I studied Fine Art the University of Gloucestershire graduating in 1991 with a First before moving to Hamburg, Germany initially attending the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg (HFBK) as a guest student. After returning to the UK I settled in London and, apart from a two-year break in rural France, continue to live and work here. Having up until now primarily produced works to commission, I am now exhibiting to a wider audience. I’m based at the Artists Studio Company (ASC) building near Elephant & Castle.
